CUE PRIVACY POLICY

Effective December 1, 2025

CUE protects your personal information with strict confidentiality. We do not sell personal data. We do not use your information for advertising. We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform, deliver accurate insights, maintain security, and provide optional AI features.

This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Core Account Information

We collect the following information when you create an account:

• Birthdate
• Name
• Email address
• Optional username or handle

These items are required for personalized analyses and account management.

CUE Usage Information

To maintain functionality, enforce usage limits, and process refunds, we collect:

• Number of database queries
• Number of CUEchats messages
• CUE Credit redemptions
• Contributions to CUE Lists or community features

We do not track user behavior for advertising or profiling.

CUEchats and AI Data

When you use CUEchats, we process:

• The content of your messages
• Tokens used during each AI request
• System generated outputs

CUEchats has been provided as a complimentary service. AI is powered by OpenAI and each token processed incurs a cost to CUE.

AI access has never been included in any paid membership and will transition to token based billing in the future.

Technical Data Collected Automatically

To secure and operate the platform, we collect:

• IP address
• Device type
• Browser or app version
• Operating system
• Log files with timestamps
• Crash diagnostics
• Security signals to detect unauthorized access

We do not collect precise location data.

Payment Information

Payments made through Stripe, Apple, or Google are processed by those providers. CUE does not store full card numbers or bank information.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information to:

• Provide numerology and astrology insights
• Operate and secure your account
• Detect fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
• Process membership levels and CUE Credits
• Support CUEchats and generate AI responses
• Improve reliability and platform performance
• Provide customer support and resolve issues

We do not use your information for targeted advertising.

AI PROCESSING

CUEchats is powered by OpenAI. When you send a message to CUEchats, the message is securely transmitted to OpenAI to generate a response. OpenAI processes this information solely to provide the CUEchats service under strict confidentiality terms.

CUE pays for every token used. You have received complimentary access during the early release period, but CUEchats has never been included as part of any paid membership.

CUE does not use your prompts or responses to train publicly available models. Data is only used for CUE's operational and security purposes.

If CUE transitions to token based billing, we will process basic usage data required to calculate costs. Billing data will not be used for advertising or profiling.

DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

CUE discloses personal information only when necessary:

• Service providers supporting hosting, security, AI processing, analytics, email, or payment operations
• Legal authorities, only when required by valid court order or governmental request
• Protection of CUE and its users in the event of fraud, threats, or harm
• Business transfers such as mergers or acquisitions, with continued privacy protections

We do not sell, trade, or rent personal information.

SECURITY

CUE uses industry grade security practices:

• Encryption for data in transit and at rest
• Strict access control
• Firewall and intrusion detection systems
• Ongoing security monitoring and internal audits

No system is perfect, but we maintain strong safeguards to reduce risk.

DATA RETENTION

We retain data only as long as needed for:

• Account management
• Fraud prevention
• Operational reliability
• Legal or regulatory requirements
• Backup restoration windows

Upon verified deletion request, data is removed or anonymized unless retention is legally required.

CUE operates its services with long term intent. If the platform is discontinued or no longer maintainable, access associated with Lifetime memberships will end with the service.

USER RIGHTS

You may request:

• Access to the data we hold
• Correction of inaccurate information
• Deletion of your data
• A portable copy of your data
• Restriction of certain processing
• Withdrawal of consent where applicable

Users located in the EU, UK, and California have additional rights under local laws.

TRACKING AND ANALYTICS

CUE does not use tracking technologies for advertising, behavioral profiling, or cross site monitoring.

CUE may use privacy focused performance analytics to monitor stability, security, and system health. These metrics do not follow you across applications.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. Transfers comply with applicable laws, including mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses for GDPR covered regions.

BREACH NOTIFICATION

If a data breach occurs that affects your information, CUE will notify you within 72 hours by email or in app alert, as required by law.

MINORS

CUE may be used by individuals of any age. Users under 16 should seek parental consent. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors who use the platform.

POLICY CHANGES

This Privacy Policy may be updated. Significant changes will be communicated through email or in app notice. Continued use of CUE after changes indicates acceptance.
